So tonight the necessary evil had to be done either the nose cone or the bumper mount had to be modified so that the body would fit the chassis with the nose on Well after looking at a few pic's and including my dislike for how far the bumper sat out, plus the fact that HALF of the nose would be lost The bumper mount got the chop I definitely think I made the right choice and once I custom an alloy brace for the top, it should look sweet

That looks great.. You can still make a custom bumper like the ones for the Scorcher.. A bit of aluminum tubing and you are set to go.. You made the right choice on this one.. Looking good.. Jeeze.. Now you are making me want to get on my Frog project again.. Ok after I finish my Yokomo..

The front does look right as is ... but it also looks rather fragile without a bumper

Thanks Shawn, I'm still toying with the idea of a bumper like you mentioned If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Thanks Jonny, the remaining part of the bumper mount does sit against the back of the nose so would offer some protection from snapping it off However I only plan to use open sandy areas not curb lined streets so it should be safe If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate
