This one popped up on my Facebook. A colleague's husband had borrowed a toy.

Pure box art of course ;)

Just found me the hubcaps (and clips) @ tony's Tamiya parts :cheer:
If anybody is looking, victor101 got some in store too.

Only "bad" thing about this car (1:1) is that it's just too easy for anyone to do 270 km/h! It's that good...
Of course you can create a handicap to make it more challenging - like Senna wearing slippers :

Needless to say this modification appeals to me. B)
Did the front parts fit on the suspension without any trouble?
That would be highly interesting...

what are the two little red thingies for that stick out at the side of the tub?

I was convinced they could be used to "tweak" the chassis if you put some screws through them.
By adjusting these screws, the max angle of chassis roll and understeer-oversteer could be influenced with that.
But Rakuda had some inside info that they are actually mounting points for an undercowl that was never produced.

Probably true... but couldn't you fit some titanium screws there for the sparks? ;)

That's indeed what I did... although I did not run the car like that and the screws have been recycled in the meantime.
But I'm planning on building an ultra light Group C from "scraps" and will definitely use some titanium screws there. :)

Another indication for the missing undercowl are the two holes at the rear of the chassis that seem to have no purpose :
