TOPIC:

I have an original Avante and there are some issues with the upper chassis deck on the chassis.
Can a new chassis fit the older Avante? I've looked everywhere for a replacement but only the 2011 come up.

Not sure if the new one will fit exactly. I'll look into it. Part number is different at least.
There are some original upper decks on eBay under "Tamiya 4025011" though...

Maybe try and modify a Avante 2001 upper chassis?
Not sure if they're easy to get off the bay...

Why don't you buy a FRP plate and remake it with your broken one?
In remind, The 2011 is really the first one rerelease. Only difference if they are are in the transmission.
