No doubt I'll be looking at this in the new year.

Good evening,

Lucky for me i found a brand new C-tree and some new rear wheels and tires to make life bit less difficult :)

I will further on "lend" the bumper from my BMW until i find another one or have made one myself ;) .
Hopefully i found some rear lights in Austria and front lights in Switzerland so i can break down the body and repair and paint it again.

Cheers, Bram

Really like the Countach version of this chassis, but it's one of those cars I'd buy to run. Fortunately they're rare & expensive enough to stop me buying one & doing exactly that with it! Gonna keep an eye on this one, it might even give me a prod into doing something with that poorly Celica of mine (Contemplating retro-modding the body to be a standard not race car again, I think the un-sooped version is far sexier)

Good timing on this thread, just about to start the same project on my 58008 cs, it's been sat for 30yrs and in great condition most of the shell is unpainted,

Any thoughts, go 100% resto or tempted to paint white or light blue?

I'd go for a completely original resto on that one. :)
Even if I'm more of a customizer myself...

Sounds good to do an original restoration.

It shouldnt need much work its hardly been used, chassis will clean up well and bodywork is very good apart from the yellow paint but I will strip this and repaint matt or satin black.

The front wheels are painted so hopefully will strip, just missing a wiper and decals if anyone knows where I might get this from..?

Some pics... cant have been touch in 30yrs, great find!
