Hi Guys,
I finally could start on this long date project that was waiting on a box since a few month ! I manage to get 2 almost complete Supershots and one in pieces. During the past hollidays i had a bit of time and started working on it. This is how the first one i got looked like The second one, thought in a better shape than the grey one, but unfortunately many parts were broken or abused on it. Even the technigold Motor was missing and replaced by another one. Have a look at the parts that need to be replaced : Well i started dismanteling everything, cleaning and stored it in a box until having time to build it together again Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Hi Bram,
Thank you, i fully agree with you i'm in love with Supershots ! I just love them since i restored my first Hotshot. I already ordered a few parts i needed and they should arrive soon: - Front tires - Rear Tires - Underguard - Front bumper and i'm hesitating in ordering a new body. The main thing is that i only want an original one and not a re-re or repro. As the original one don't looks that bad i might keep it like that until i find a decent vintage one. I was working a bit on it and started rebuilding the transmission and the suspension. As I have lot's of parts for that car, i had the choice and picked the best parts to build this one without any cracked or broken parts. Cleaned the original MSC and tested it (it works ) Assembling the Gearbox with new bearings Fixing the Motor. I tested both and the second one needs new bearings there was such sqealing noise when i tested it... Front Diff and Gearbox Once the both Gearboxes assembled i started according the instructions manual (unfortunately it's acopy and not the original ) it's time to start with the suspension arms Like all the HotShots and Supershots, there was like 1,4 mm play on the fixing points of the suspension arm. Instead of ordering new re-re ones i installed 1mm shims between the suspension arms and the fixation point. Now i only have 0,4 mm free play which is acceptable. But keep in mind that this Supershot will mainly be a shelfer. Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Until the parts i ordered arrive, i started working on the rims,
The gold coat was peeling badly. I started their "treatment" with a good bath of DOT4 for a couple of days, mainly during the WE, and cleaned them after that. This is how they looked like before : Sanded them and with the first coat of white Tamiya primer First coat of Gold paint And there's the result after 3 more gold paint coats As soon as i got the parts, i'll keep you posted ! Thanks for looking Proud owner of the Bruiser Family
