I tend to paint them ... an off white like VW "Alpine White" looks better than a generic white IMO.

I have been meaning to try Hydrogen Peroxide to bleach wheels back to white, but inadequate sunlight outdoors or them need to cat-proof a setup indoors has put me off so far.

Yes... That would make for an interesting coloured cat and carpet.
