Started working on the Gearbox, after a good clean up of all parts i started the assembly process
Took the mainshaft apart and started installing the bearings. While installing the first flanged bearing, i forced it a bit ( well a bit too much ) Well it appeared that the shaft wasn't sanded enough Finally installed the bearing The same with the countershaft The next step is to assembly the Gearbox and make sure my measurements are correct and test if it shifts smoothly Other step is to check if the Gears are perfectly aligned Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

Assembly for testing continues
Gearbox now assembled for testing It appeared that by pulling the shift lever top right ( low 4x4 gear ) the spacing was too big between both shafts Dissasemble everything again and put a 1mm extra washer on the coutershaft. Everything fits perfectly now, the shifting is perfect and smooth Extra washer installed Fitting all the parts into their cases Upper part ready to assemble Gearbox ready to be installed into the chassis Proud owner of the Bruiser Family

A gearbox should be exposed. It is a oeuvre d'art. Yours is really shiny.
