Some years ago, I bought a rere montero Dakar. Kept it in its box after resto box art of the body. In the mean time, I wanted a tribute of the original pajero. Last weeks I did some scratches with my lunchybrid pick-up.
last week, I found a job lot of an original pajero. So, the project is on road....
The body and spares are at home. I am still waiting the chassis.

Thanks Al. I can't wait to. But the front body post is brocken. I don't know how to fix it. But the result will be nice. And I have a radio set which could be cool. I should only miss the grasshopper steering rods.

Not often we see these vehicles on any sites.
I will watch.

I have two of these I need to rebuild at some point.

Small question. Parts are on road. Maybe tomorrow or friday.
is a black sd motor red bell coherent or should I better use a classic vintage johnson white bell one?
It could be fun to hop up a little this chassis with bearing (next step) a set of vintage wild one rear shocks ( not searched yet) and a upgraded motor like johnson or red bell black sd. (The cheapest option because I have each motor in my own collection).

Parts arrived this evening. A little desappointed by the rims. No rear rims. But the other are really deep..  are they like the ranger originaly?
very dirty and greasy. Other parts look in good state except the chassis wich is brocken on the front post. But it is nicely brocken and easy to fix. Tires are soft.
All already in the bath. Tomorrow I will clean gearbox with white spirit and see the result.
