Hi
This my "work in progress" Tamiya OG Bigwig. Bought on Facebook Vintage RC group from Ralph W. (maybe a TB member). It was not a complicate restauration, only need few time to clean the parts and add a new bumper (from rerelease). The car was in really good shape, close to new but with a lot of dirt. The body was good no crack but need to be clean, it soak in Glanzer. But I'll rather like to buy a repro from Penguin Body and repro decals from MCI. After soak in warm water and some "Muc-off", as you can see the bigwig is shiny I run on local track every RC cars I refurbish. And to enhanced the experience of driving vintage rc, I always try to put some periodic electronics composents. As you can see, a there are a Sanwa Dash FM for the radio and a Sanwa Battle Champ who complet the set Even if the chassis is large, it was hard for me to install those electronics properly. And doing like it mentionne in the manual is an aberration How to not have trouble with the antenna receiver if it was attach with all the power wires (motor, resistance) That the base of electronics on RC. Power wires produce disturbance and can affect the signal reception. (Nowaday with 2,4ghz it is not so also necessary) This how I manage to put receiver and Esc in correct place to not have the problem David

I have a new vintage body if you need. Only miss the decals. It's boxart painted.
