Cheers Flo, they aren’t easy to get in white anymore, they do them in different colours, but I’d still end up having to spray them.
There’s still a bit more tidying up to do.

Yeah,  nice job Al. They look very good considering their history. Definitely nice for a runner with new tires.

yes sure I already tried to paint in white rims and it was definitely not a win. For yours , like we are in summer, you could use peroxyd water u der the sun.

Hi Flo, I’d have tried peroxide, but they already had paint on them from the PO, my only course of action was to paint them white. Cheers.

Some parts turned up today B tree which gave me the part to cover over the gears on one end of the drive shaft and also gave me the motor / pinion cover.

After Richard’s observation on the speed controller yesterday, today I took the MSC apart and cleaned it up.

Including the covers on the bullet connectors. Left cleaned up, right as it came.

And both cleaned up. Better.

The body is up next, but even like this, I think this model has come along way and I like the look of it.

Chassis 95% complete.

I couldn’t resist giving the shell a bit of a clean. The more I look at the more little things I spot, like bad cutting out.
Now I just need to work out how to do the shell as I’m keen to have a go at fixing this. I appreciate I may well end up buying a repro one at some point, but at the minute there’s nothing to lose.

Cheers Flo, I agree I think this is a great looking car.

You maybe could use armed tape inside the body and classic clear tape outsidebefore try the resin?
the chassis is like new.

Chassis came out real nice Al. Yeah, def give the body a shot if for no other reason than honing your repair skills. Who knows how it may come out. Might be a decent drivers body.
