A while ago I purchased a Boomerang from Flo.
Yesterday I fitted new wheels and tires for now.



First part task is to see if I can restore the wheels.
Tires is hard as solid plastic so they was no hope for


Tires was easy to remove, cut a knob of and cut across tire with a flush side cutter and then peeled like a orange.


After 24 hours in grafitti remover, 99% of the paint was gone.
I did scrub them several times with cotton sticks during that time.


Only one outer ring was good enough to keep so I decided to sand them off. What a mess!


My el chipo lathe lol!


Also did the backside. The outher ring was good enough to keep.


That is how far I managed today.

Luv the lathe.  I've done some small scale stuff with Dremel
