Nice one. :)
Sounds like a pretty normal list of parts to get for a Tamiya addict. :lol:

After digging through my "spare parts department" i found a vintage Hotshot bumper set and some rear spiked tires B) Front ones are ordered so should be here within some days.

Now for the gold plated wheels, thats another story... they charge 80 euro fot them :cry:
So i digged up some old hotshot wheels with 3 layers of paint on them out of the department.
After a mornings cleaning and stripping they look good enough for me.

Now wait for the result after painting...

So after spraying the cleaned up wheels the result;

looks good enough for me ;)

Now the front tires have arrived also :)

Only 2 things left now, paint new driver and get the body for the Supershot.
The price is too high atm so i will probably wait with the body for the Super
Hotshot to be released and see what prices do then...hopefully the will go down :dry:

Cheers, Bram

Nice job on the wheels - not quite up there with plating, but an excellent DIY result :y: :)

I think those rims came out really well, considering they sprayed not plated. What paint did you use?

I used a local brand on the wheels (i live in the netherlands).
Don't know if you can buy it anywhere else...
