Tamiya Hotshot "1985" 12 years 3 weeks ago #9028

HI!... I picked up this original Hotshot off Ebay about a week ago. Got it for a good price. Got lots of extras with it as well. Enough to build about 85-90% of a 2ND Hotshot. lol! It's missing a few things like front bumper, window netting etc. I've already got a NIB set of wheels for it. This one will be restored and be another shelf queen.

HI!... Well I got some more work done. I still need to find a NIP mechanism box due to the two I have are massively scratched up. Just found out too, the the MSC aluminum mounting plate is missing. Previous owner just had the servo taped to the box. The actual MSC was flopping around when they were running the car.

HI!... Well I got the front gear box put together. I polished the aluminum axles and the aluminum shock body/swaybar/mounts. Just painted the driver on the chassis and waiting for it to dry before I go any further.

Why did you buy a repro body when you can easly find a cheap original one?
