I have a painted Lexan body on my basher Monster Beetle and I have split the lexan around the wheel arches. Is there a 'how-to' repair guide for Lexan anywhere? - How do I repair lexan splits/cracks etc? - Is it a big job?

You can use shoe goo or Flexi Fix from GHRC. Put some masking on the outside to keep every thing lined up. Then ad some of the glue on the inside, a thin layer will do just fine. Let it dry for at least 19 hours. You can also add some glass fiber tape when it has dried for some added rigidity.

Shoe Goo ? - Really :) - OK, I will try it. I have also ordered some fibre-glass tape.

Can't find 'Flexi Fix' on ebay and not sure who GHRC are as I am in the UK?

Thanks for the info though.

Fiberglass drywall mesh pushed into the wet shoe goo works well too.
