Hey all,

Been playing with different painting techniques and today I got the bright idea to use auto pinstriping to run my window lines. Very good stuff so far.
What do you all use? Paint markers?

Keep the rubber on the road! PM me with any Alfa Romeo bodies!!!

I use a fine or super fine marker for the lines and paint on ABS.

I use Tamiya paint, a "steady" hand and masking tape if when needed.
I don't fancy using pin striping tape as they tend to lift after a while.

But, I detail my models for the shelf, not for running, which I'm sure would make a difference.

Anything repairable slash re apply-able is golden in my books...especially when you flex your shell in half on a hit.

Some people cut through the protection film at the outside on the window lines and use a black spray can.
For matte black lines you can use LRP paint. For more glossy effect it is Tamiya PS.

I cut vinyl strips that i apply around the window lines and paint them by hand.
