Lately I had problems printing stuff, this time a bumper mount for a Axial.
Tried a bit more temp on the black PETG, which helped.
My next problem was items either lifted from bed from start or near the end of the print.
Today I slowed the print down and made a raft, and voila! It printed without problems!

Fresh from the printer

Raft removed

And it fitted beutiful with nearly no cleanup!

For those intrested I printed it at 225 degrees, about 50-70% of max speed witth 25% infill and 3 walls.

Yesterday me and the 5 year old kiddo next door drove my Axial and my 6x6.
Because of that I was tires, so my main task today was to print something.

The first one failed due no support as it was stated it could be printed with next to non support.

I launched the print again and this time with support and rafft.
Also a turned down the speed to be sure success.
Print was fine this time.
This is a part to convert the Honcho cage to be hinged.
Design is made by KgrothJensen on Thingyverse.

Fits like so

Worked like a charm!

Replaces the rear crossmember and the cage is opened up and refitted as the tube is fitted through the hole which act as a hinge point.

Netx I print something Tamiya related I think.

Several of my vehicles is missing their steering servo.

I printed a couple of these dummy servos so cars will not have flopping front wheels.
These is by SMK_MB on Thingiverse.
Printed with raft, 225 degrees, 15% infill,3 walls on normal setting with supports. Printed in PETG.
