I love seeing time capsule kits like this, with all the extra bits... as though they built up the steam to assemble, but never went through with it.
Some people found the early kits quite daunting, and just packed them away. I guess it's understandable, especially if it was given as a gift. I had the fortune of coming across an AYK Viper similar to this a few years ago. It had been lightly assembled, but never finished or run. Decals were NIP. Still had a NIP battery, receipt, and many other bits. Box still great. The seller had no idea of its collectibility, it had just been bought, attempted, and then packed away in the cupboard since 1986. I actually think vintage kits that are "newly attempted" but never run or painted, are kind of the equal of NIB kits. It's all still brand new parts. All they've done is try to assemble some bits. Hi, I can’t see a date when you posted the Turbo Ultima for sale! Messaging you on the off chance it’s still available!?
