There's a world of difference between what I did there - making a single set for my own use as I couldn't buy a pukka set - & what Tamiya objected to - mass reproduction for profit. Although I think what they've done would carry more moral weight if they hadn't just gone after the people that were making good quality stuff & left the eBay sellers of garbage to trade with impunity In the end, I did manage to get a genuine set of decals for the Striker, so Tamiya's pockets are just as full as they'd have been if I'd never made that set. |
