heys guys nice ideas and cars!
okay I'll give you all a heads up on the guy doing the bodies..
the last time I looked he had like 75 old r/c lexan bodies!
His prices range from like $10 for wings and stuff, to $30usd for his 1/10th bodies!
can you say...bargain!
I was the guy who talked him into remolding the 1/10th scale HPI Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak rally car bodies.
He makes bodies from the Marui Hunter to most old Kyosho and Tamiya bodies.
I really like the idea of anyone helping us vintage builders out....

I hope someone comes along to do custom lexan bodies like my 1/4 sidecar project?

Don't you need a "female" (concave) mould to get a good finish on fibreglass/resin though? Or is that the next step?

it looks like i got 1 and 3/4 body sets in a few days!

I posted my search in some other forums,and one guy wrote to me.

He was building for 20 years this car,but he didnt bring it to an end.
His body is about 75% ready,and he also got another one still in the box.

He is willing to sell it to me.
The only problem is,he is missing the decals.
Can someone help me with that problem?

Cannot help you with the decals myself...

But I'd like to anticipate in this topic on the more specified forum rules that will follow at some point.
The "certain Canadian seller" that was mentioned before is Team Bluegroove :

They don't have a body for the C100 at the moment though.
This seller puts so much creativity and labour into his product that it can hardly be described as repro.
It may be considered more as a good "look-a-like" shell.
Most of all - they do not use the Tamiya brand name anymore...
And they do make a nice quality product for a good price.
