Where to get vintage parts? 12 years 4 months ago #4755

Evening all (or as appropriate depending where you are in the world!)

first my disclaimer - I am bit of a computer luddite so my search Fu is weak.

I am buying new parts for a Bigwig but have got stummped on a few parts and when I use google search I pretty much come back to Tony's Tamiya Parts, Vintage Tamiya parts or Jims Toy and Hobby.

I ahve done some cross referenceing but still cant find too much

I am sure that there must be other places to find and buy parts from but I can't find them. Is any one willing to share some other places that I can try to hunt down parts?

thanks

I would think eBay is definitely the place to be.
My favourite sellers are Lightwatermodels and Jason's store .
It's always worth asking for a quote when order multiple items.
Might always be interesting to have a look a this topic :

Can't think of anyone else to suggest, other than Team Bluegroove on eBay for repro shells & www.rccarstickers.com for repro decals - although I just checked & the Tamiya pages have disappeared :(

... I think if you're hunting for Bigwig parts, the problem is there aren't that many around ... it does share some parts with the Boomerang, so it might be worth comparing manuals/part numbers.
