Looks like a holiday buggy is on your list :)
No matter what the state is, some people think rare means expensive... You may do an offer, with a price corresponding to the state, with proper educated arguments, they would just reject it, and keep their junk forever, just because why not...

Somewhat funny, when you have one with a reasonable price, you may give argumentation and still reduce price based on proper arguments/facts...

So in short, you may try, but I'm almost sure there is no way to get this at a price corresponding to the state of this thing...

The funny thing is, I’m not actually looking for one, I’ve already got one good one to finish and one that is in good condition, but needs a repair to the body and will be sold. But I’d never be asking for that kind of money.
My second “ rough “ one looks superb compared to this stuff.
Based on those prices I’d be asking £400. Obviously that would be a joke.

I'd just buy a Re RE rather than buy that.

The world of Tamiya rc has finally lost the plot as far as I’m concerned.
Last one to leave please turn out the lights.
Yes someone is asking over £3k, over $5k.
Pick a currency, any one you like, it’s still nuts !!!!!
It’s not even complete and don’t forget the rear wheels and tyres are off the XR311.

For that price you may even find a 1/1 in better state (OK maybe not, but for sure you can have a 1/1 car for that)
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

Holy sh!t, it's the "barn find" of RC kits

There was recently someone selling a dozen kits for USD6,700.  Listing is gone, so dunno if it sold or not.

Either someone is being a bit optimistic about their pricing (65 GBP each) for unpainted heads on Osbourne figures, or I massively, massively underpriced the two with painted faces I just sold
