My next project will hopefully be the original Lancia rally with frame chassis. This body kit has been on ebay for some time it seems. Is the price too far from what one should expect?

There are three kind of Lancia (Rally) bodysets. Two for the original one (58040) and one for the Lancia 037 (TA-something chassis).

The one you link to on ebay is the rarest one, because of the included bumper. Price is steep, and in my opinion maybe a bit too high. And, if it has been on ebay for a long time, that usually shows that the price is too high. Basically it all comes down to what you are prepared to pay.

The other "original" bodyset is actually a reissue "event special". This one comes in a plastic bag, and does not have the bumper.

And finally, the Lancia 037 bodyset, that only fits the TA chassis model. This one has tinded windows, the smaller wheel arches and slightly different decals.
