I recieved it mostly disassebled and put it together the way I figured it should be. Seems no matter what power source I test it with, it gets very hot on the sliders quickly. Al Offline Impressive Numbers Posts: 1497 Likes received: 1736	I’ll need to check one of them in my early cars. I don’t remember having any issues back in the 80’s. You could use the circuit breaker if you’re concerned. See the one installed in the Sand Scorcher/ Rough Rider.
