Hey everyone.... I am hoping someone has this MSC or knows how it goes together. I recieved it mostly disassebled and put it together the way I figured it should be.  Seems no matter what power source I test it with, it gets very hot on the sliders quickly. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not have a fuse in the circuit. I am running a 5 cell, 6v, 3300mah NimH pack that I custom made.

Any idea what voltage that fuse is? Also, wouldn't the fuse just fail everytime if it was an over-current issue?

I’ll need to check one of them in my early cars. I don’t remember having any issues back in the 80’s. You could use the circuit breaker if you’re concerned. See the one installed in the Sand Scorcher/ Rough Rider.
