Sorry that was my last set, they were actually for my nephews QD Wrangler so he will be getting the ones that are on my clod and probably the Beetle too so he can run both the QDs with his father or his granddad.
Think I was very lucky getting those four sets these QDs are totaly different after mounting them. No longer so cluncky when accelerating. (I also put some foam in the hinges F&R) |

the QD are a slightly smaller diam. There isnt that much room to fit the standard CVA F&R without them touching the wheels. its just a mm but its just to tight.
I think I will take some measurements of the QDs and a set of short CVA I have lying around. Must have been an expensive mold for Mr. T if these dampers were only made for the Monster QDs. btw.found the dampers sets (43007) at tamiya-australia.com costs 32€ for 2 sets incl. shipment. (thats what I paid for the Beetle  ) |

I believe there are many and many dampers on the market, most of them in aluminum (that is a bling bling factor also).
Is it possible no one fits? I believe that with some modification some oil dampers could fit, imho. If I mounted modern oil dampers on the Grrasshopper front end everything is possible imho. www.tamiyaclub....054&sid=24 Keep in mind that today there are many other r/c scales like 1/16 or 1/18, don't remember well, there are the off road Tamtech for example... or Losi, or Asso etc etc...
