A new body arrived for my DF-01 project today! :cheer:
Waterbok decided to make a Warthog and I rose to the occasion to see if he wanted to sell the Humvee body. :)
Thanks @waterbok for the easy communication and the good care sending it :

It's gonna go on this chassis :

Keep an eye on my threads for the report. :silly:

Dude, you got an F103GT? Envy, envy... that one has most of the hop ups already. :woohoo:
It looks similar but is quite different - the form of the chassis itself is slender on a RS (which you can't see because of the plastic tray) but the biggest difference is in the wheel base widths and rear axle components. A GT is quite a bit smaller.

F103, RS, RX (F1 cars):

F103LM (Le Mans cars):

F103GT (GT cars and the Courage for example):

The plan for this chassis is to hop it up in the direction of an F103GT but fiddle enough with the wheel offset to get the correct wheel base for a body like the GT-One. This one is in very nice shape btw. Took some of the decals off already...
The whole car has been disassembled and is either in WD-40 or a regular bath.

Looks like an F103GT to me... B)
The independent F1 link front suspension is very cool. And it should have rubber slicks and not the normal foams.
Most of all - a carbon chassis instead of FRP.
What body do you have for it?

Then again - the upper deck looks different. That'll need some research.
