GPM seems to be on the move. There is a steering assembly for a bathtub chassis now as well. This one
Looks pretty good. I noticed a while back they have another separate steering linkage (just the rod and connections) too.
That's for a TA02 but it'll be interesting to sort out that little GPM puzzle...
All for the sake of slop free steering.

they arrived

its nice but the bearing fit a little slopy and the standard ballcups have to go.

these have a tighter fit

it still has a 'loose' feeling with an one on one replacement.

@Edou still loads of tuning possibilities. :woohoo:

btw this is how a Tamiya is supposed to look like underneath

Don't really need it but I got curious (especially at half price)...

how thick is the middle part, the one that is included with the TA kit is quite thin.

I could use it on my Humvee, if I hadn't gone through the trouble of modifying the chassis so ball ends will fit.
Might come in handy later though (and it's a nice little item)...

Hi Waterbok,

Not wanting to hijack your thread but I'm interested in those turnbuckles you have used for the steering and camber adjuster. Where did you get them?

I have some of the 4.8 ball cap tie rod ends and ball studs, just struggling to find the right M3 turnbuckles. I'm modiying my XB Super Manta Ray on it's stock DF-01 bath tub chassis and plastic front suspension tower. I know there isn't much room between the tower and front gearbox housing to fit ball stud and cap but it's worth a try so I can try and get even tire wear at the front and back ;-)

Thanks in advance.
