I've had 2 or 3 go like that, I think about the same incidence of the left rear wheelnut undoing itself, or sets of the body mounts breaking.

I'd always put the wheels down to age and/or wrong sort of lube on the bearings - any chance cold was a factor on this one?

:)

It's not really cold... Around 10°C, I don't think cold factor is in... Full speed 30° angle with the street border at 45° vertical angle may have played more... But there was a lot of jumps as always with my son, so it was kind of expected something would happen at some point (the only question I had was for how long I would wait for such an event)...

Hitting something in a angle is the worst for parts.
Think I have been lucky. Have never broken a Lunchbox wheel in my 30 years of driving these.
In fact I rarely break anything which is a bit odd as I mainly is driving flat out most of the time.
The most breakage I had was with a Traxxas Rustler so after a few years I sold it as it annoyed me.

Looking at my son's crazy driving style, I thought the first thing he would broke would be either a servo saver, the cheap 3kg plastic servo or an A arm... That being said, I'm told by some friends this is quite frequent, and it something easy to fix with a bit of cyano glue... I'll try this and will plan for nice wheels print as well...

Yeh just on Thingyverse

www.thingiverse...ng:4435841

I haven't tested mine yet. But it sounds like Flo has tested them quite well.
They take a while to print but worth it, print right way up with supports and 50% infill There's a bit of clean up at the back BUT nice clean insides
Regards

Lee
