Super - thanks. Battery pack arrived today and its working!!!!
One issue, when putting it into revers - there is a pause of a fraction of a second, this makes doing reverse spins etc near impossible. Is this a fault with the Futaba ESC or just the way they are? Thanks! |

That's how they are. Exceptions are the crawler ESC's, they have instant reverse. |

The stop is the brake effect.

Nothing lets you abuse an RC car like the old skool 3-step Mechanical Speed Control

Sorry to drag up an old thread. My parents found some old photos, one of them showed two Tamiya Cars I had, and im sure this Porche was originally a Tamiya Peugeot 406 ST (57011) !
tamiyabase.com/...dels/57011 So my quest is to restore it, all it needs is the correct body shell, paint and decals and all will be well. My quick question, I decided it was a "Tamiya Peugeot 406 ST (57011)" from the wheel design (i also do remeber the Pug shell), but could Tamiya have used the same spoked alloys on other models? Alas the photo is so blury you cant make anything out, all i can see is a yellow RC car (and a purple one), the yellow touring car led me to google 90's Tamiya, the Pug popped up and the wheels match, I guess it should be the one. Does anyone know if Tamiya did use the same wheels on other RC kits ? Thanks! |
