Tha chassis looks to be a F-1 chassis, so the body is probably not original.
Also, it is not a Tamiya model that I know of, but it would be fun to know what it is.

I'm not an expert, but i think that chassis is a hybrid or home built to resemble this chassis:

Thanks for the post but I'm afraid it will still remain a mystery for now...

I'm leaning towards a Tamiya/Kyosho hybrid..
