Probably a medical dosis in the States though.

Documentaries are awesome - especially weird scientific stuff that I hadn't heard about yet.
Like what the "jetstream" is exactly and how it especially influences weather in the UK.
And makes the travel back from the USA an hour and a half faster...

On a lighter note - Community is hilarious at times.
Good old Chevy Chase. And Chang can be brilliant.

Pretty sure I saw Black Hole at the cinema too.
Definately saw the original release Star Wars at the cinema, & Star Trek the movie

Definitely saw Star Wars at the cinema, I'd just turned 5 & it pissed all over everything I'd seen at the cinema before (lots of Disney animations, Herbie Goes Bananas, etc)

Black Hole I saw on a big screen - the Head at my junior school (1979 to 1983) was always organising events, including hiring a projector, screen etc & showing films in the gym/hall

Star Trek - much later on TV at a friends house ... IIRC we spend the whole time incredulous at how crap it was

Going off at a bit of a tangent, I remember seeing a Superman film (II or III) on a ferry to Denmark

Got Black Hole too, Dark Star, Silent Running, Robot Jox, Crash & Burn etc.
Pretty sure I've still got Blue Thunder, Airwolf, Dukes of Hazzard & A-Team as well.

Yep saw Superman 3 on the big screen - same day I went to my 1st McDonalds (Just opened in Harlow).

I like Grease, proper entertainment. Little Shop of Horrors (Rick Moranis one) is good too.

As for school film trips - they organised for us to go see (The original) Piranha, but I wasn't allowed to go

I also remember Blade Runner but that was a bit later...
