For the bonnet I used a craft knife, for the wings (fenders) a mixture of a razor saw & a Dremel |

Glue is just regular plastic kit "poly" stuff; styrene sheet came from eBay e.g. item # 171068324906

Cutting it up is easy - it's looking at the rather minimal shell left at the end & wondering where to start putting it back together that was a bit scary |

Boot floor fitted, not exactly as the 1:1 car but it'll be hidden anyway ... front end is now nice & stiff & not parallelogramming at all...
Sun visor cut out, bent & fitted: Rear firewall was a little problematic - I really needed one of those pin block doodads you use to reproduce the shape of door architrave when you cut a carpet to fit a doorway (the correct name of which escapes me at the moment ), but I had to fake it ... it got a bit messy ... ... but I got there in the end Rear firewall needs to be 3 dimensional, so had to be glued in stages ... Fitting "ears" on the back end.... ... no idea what is supposed to be between them, I guessed a wing |
