Ready to race :y:

With my other body shell for now. The one that came with this still needs work...
And I noticed that the combination of slightly raising the servo and putting fibre glass on the nose makes it not fit anymore.

Got one more minor mod in mind... don't think it adds a lot of effectivity but it'll look good. B)

the rims are to brittle

Yeah, especially on the outside. Making 'em shiny didn't help flex much I think...
But for the price they're great.

They sell the tires separately, I got four rear tires for a Df01 cause they fit the MR rims nicely. :D
They have a much better optic than the sissy tires that are on a blazing star.

Nice...

This image made me think the car wasn't quite finished, it's missing something :

I think I'll bring my first Grasshopper back to box art (sort of) too. :)

This one wasn't quite finished yet. Lots to do on the shell but also a tweak with Super Hornet brackets for the front :

These are slightly smaller which will be better for camber. :)
CVAs are otherwise rather long to fit on a Hopper...

Before :

After will follow (man, I made up some thread locked custom stuff that I had to saw off!).

Oh oh, too much strain on one of the rear shock mounts apparently (from tightening). :S
So that now has an incomplete clone (in other words, it's in half)...
Might as well go for a complete redesign on the rear then. Something like this :

Breaky breaky :

oops
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
