HI!... Looks good. I have two Superhornets. They are both shelf queens. Be careful with the orange wheels. They are very brittle and tend to break around the center hub. They are VERY hard to find!!! Took me 2 years to find 2 complete sets that were still new in package. Original tire are getting hard to find as well.

I have a ton of pics of mine restored. If you need to see them, LMK.

Here in Europe everything but the rear rims is still available.
Awesome looking Super Hornet btw.

All parts cleaned and ready for assembly:



Have to clean off the parts where they attach to the parts tree. It make the car look rough and untidy if those are left on.






Just oiled the gears, because I'm not running the car there's no need for grease. It just gets hard.

With the chassis 90% finished, I just threw these old rims on. The other rims are waiting to be be gunmetal chromed.



I will still spray the springs of the shocks. I'm thinking of an orange to compliment the decals. But I'll still put some thought into that.

Hey Edou, you said everything for the Super Hornet is still available in Europe. Can you get the front and rear tires? If so, how much?

Yeah, I know... the larger European Tamiya suppliers are usually German.

I thought I'd share the progress on the driver so far. I need honest opinions guys, does it look alright so far?






Drivers head has 1 coat of flat aluminium on it. Camera doesn't show up too well.
