Wow - looks exactly the same.
No copyright on that pattern I guess... This is what Lrp says : That's a nice ESC - waterproof and all. |

Funny thing is I now see the 58125 is listed as a TA01 at Tamiya USA.
This way it's basically the same car as the pictures I showed from my chassis. Only with different length arms. So the car is not a TA02! There are a few differences... Hope you will receive the right set of bearings - the ones in the wheel hubs are different. For the other parts there is no consequence. The manual I linked to is less accurate too. I will link a better one. Gearboxes are identical so it works for that. Sorry! |

Hi Edou,
No problem, I was researching the difference between the TA01 and TA02 chassis the other day and realised I had a TA01, so I've order the correct bearings |

Don't worry about the "vintage" bit.

Cool.
I think it's quite fascinating to see how the Manta Ray and Top Force crossed over into all the TA01 and TA02 models. But also hybrids like the Hummer and Porsche Cayenne. Parts can also be found in the TA03 generation and the M chassis. Because of the contemporary issue, there's even the slightest resemblance to the Group C... But with the release of the 58495 Ford F-150 Baja the roots are still very much alive today! |
