I don't plan to fit this to a chassis as the chances of getting a decent vintage RM chassis at a price I'd want to pay are very slim

I've made really rapid progress over the last couple of days, windows & engine cover are a way behind but the rest of the body is done. I even added a few details not mentioned in the Guide Book.
A dab of Decalfix will sort the lifting Tamiya transfer.

Looking at the Guide Book scans, those missing a-pillars must be a challenge to the look of the windows?

It has got them, they're 2mm square beams on the inside that will have to go in last.
