I agree, brushless will be a little to much for it. Rather run a slightly modified brushed motor.

A brushless will work but the main question is how long the gears will stay in one piece.

Cheapest (new) one on eBay is about AU $35 including shipment.
But it is a very nice motor... Maybe you could get a better deal by looking for an auction on eBay... Although I don't see much interesting now. A Sport Tuned would make it run very well too : Tamiya Sport Tuned  P.S. You know you can click on the text to see the eBay link, right? |

           i know i can click the link and i also know that vintage tamiya rules but i am going to get the new fav gear box and drivetrain stuff then i am going to put a brushless in it so i don't wreck the old expensive gears |
