That's bonkers ... so there are two possible explanations - either the seller genuinely believes they're worth that much, or it's the "decimal place" scam, where the seller hopes someone will read it as a good price for one in that condition -

ive also seen people selling the manuals on ebay that you can download from this site. they just print them out and sell them on.
some people will do anything for a few bucks!

here is an example. this guy ripped me off when i ordered 300mm of 5mm brass hex bar. he said his shop had been burgled and all his stock taken!

yeah i got my money back. only after i opened a dispute with paypal. he refused a refund but paypal made him do it
