Okay managed to get it put together, shocks are working MUCH better now (they actually move haha), installed the TBLM-01 and TBLE-01 and got them programmed up and its working super, not going to go crazy with it just yet though, waiting on a full bearing set and some other bits.
Does anyone know if they ever made a full steel set of gearing for the TA-01? i disabled brake on the ESC to go a little easier on the gearing for the time being as i dont want to chew them up. Ive seen... a boxed (mint condition) Mini on a TA01 chassis in a local store too.. $100 but brand spanking new condition... sadly im half tempted lol. |

No, they went the other way, TA02 gears are all plastic. Which is a better idea than having any aluminium gears in there... |

Interesting, might fiddle with the design a bit on the weekend, may as well use my 3d printer for something right?
I'm tempted to buy a new tub, front and rear gearbox plastics and so on but then i may as well just buy the boxed mini and have a fresh set plus a bunch of spare parts. (and a spare ESC for my hornet) |

Don't be sad, they're awesome. The first true universal chassis.
You can make a buggy (DF-01), rally car (TA01 or TA02) or scaler from them (TA-01/02 combo like the Hummer). Added a few pics btw. |

Yeah i saw, lovely cars! Am i seeing things or is your front left damper bent? I think I'm going to fiddle with the TA01's a little longer then have a shot of custom building a new one based on the TA01 using my 3d printer to make all-new shaped parts |
