Yep, mount bags (especially at normal retail price) would be very tasty...
And maybe you were beating me up btw.

Not brought by the mailman, but I thought I give it a mention:
I'd seen Selections RC on ebay before. I then noticed that they are based in Leighton Buzzard which is about 7 miles from my house and where my eldest son goes to school.
Well, he wanted picking up from school today, but I was about 30 minutes early (having come from somewhere else) so I thought I'd pop in to "LB" and find the shop.
It's on the High Street above a proper old-fashioned hardware store and it's going to be a very handy place for all those little bits and pieces.
I picked up some servo tape, some shock oil, some Tamiya polycarb spray paint (white) and a couple of small paintbrushes. This means I should be able to finish off my son's Brat over the weekend.
Ebay is fine, but nothing beats browsing in a real shop. Also, on small items like that, postage can add quite significantly to the cost.

Sometimes nothing beats having some good LHSes around. Also if you're looking for something quite instantly!

Glad to hear Seletions cut the mustard as an LHS, because as an e-tailer they really suck - I've bought from them 4 times & my experience has been that the first time they were good, but after that the 2nd order was exceptionally slow (like three weeks to arrive), the third was also very slow & had an old servo substitued for a much older one, and the 4th they didn't send out at all ... now, even if they were the only place selling something, I'd go without instead of buying from them again :(

Well, to be clear, I was just glad that there was somewhere close to where I live. I didn't experience much of their customer service.

Just to round things up while splitting topics :

... some wheels turned up today, yes I know they're not for Thuder Dragon & wouldn't even fit, but I got distracted....

Maybe we should start an entymology topic with the last posts. :side:
Edit - done! That was eddrick's distraction...

:silly:

Anway, not an earth moving delivery but nice bits nonetheless. And a good opportunity to see how things roll at Etamiya.
I really like these servo savers and they were the only store that had these particular washers in stock.
