Thanks for the reminder. Added bullet connectors in the Wild One box. I've not soldered the wires on the motor, i'm asking myself if they go toward the inside or the outside of the car for the best arrangement (plus the fact I'm undecided on the cable colors. I'll decide later on : full black, or colored? Started to initiate the idea of doing a Xmas building night with my son, but my wife doesn't seem to like the idea, not sure why :-D I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

Few parts arrived
A front mid bulkhead for the Samurai, some light buckets (this will be less toyish for the Wild One) and some cable... I still need to print the parts for the wild one, scan decals and cut vinyls, but except this everything is ready so I could start the build... That being said, I may want to start by a track tool... Hi Marc, I wanted to solder them toward the inside but there was interference with the roll cage and I didnt relish cutting that so I went with the opposite direction. Finished the buggy and will post later today..

Thanks Jim, I was curious on this point... That is nailing it. I'll solder them from the outside face. I'm also thinking about doing a printed part to go around the motor contacts and wires to make this even cleaner... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

It's not designed yet... I feel the need to do something on this, and it might be as well useful for other cars... And I'm also tempted to buy some stl from Mister Knight as it looks like a motor could be the thing to finish this car...

Well....................I did it! My local hobby store got 2 somehow and they lasted less than a day. The price was more than reasonable... in fact I thought it was wrong but turns out it was not. Glad they aren't gougers! BTW. everyone who thinks this is staying in the box forever has learned nothing about me yet!!! LOL
ALSO A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS ON TAMIYABASE!!!!!!!!!!! Attachments: |

Those are designed as toys, they are not made to be kept in their box
Lucky you I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them
