I also saw it and thought "that's a Big Bear".
Is there any chance you could pop a picture up of a couple of parts?

On mine the motor mount and the switch bracket that screws on the chassis between the rear mounts are missing. I have found a motor mount I can 3d print but would like to see one for real to compare them.

Cheers

Today I'm messing with my Original Lunchbox  Lunchy #1  Swapped the wheels over from Lunchy#2 just to have something to roll on. I've put new crystals in the tx and rx and I have movement on the servo's I just don't have power to the motor. It could be the connector so I will change that first. I think I have a spare. Then once its working I can start on the wheels. I will attempt to use the originals I got with it. Failing that I will buy a new set.

Ok, so I worked out what the problem was. It was the connectors on the motor, they were a  bit crusty. Cleaned them up and it worked. It's alive.

Here you can see the connector covers are still pulled down so I could clean them

I dropped the original (now repaired) body on just to see how it looked and used the wheels off Lunchy#2 so I could have it running.

Success!, now to sort out either using this shell or ordering a new one. I have to strip and prep this one anyway before I paint it. Found the original wheels in my box of wheels and they are pink, cant remember why, I think I used it as an undercoat for the Flourescent Red but changed my mind before I painted them red and brought the gold Monster Beetle wheels.

Printing a motor mount for the CJ7 to see what its like. I'm hoping its the same as the Big Bear mount. Failing this I have a brushless motor mount for the Big Bear I can print and I will drill the holes to suit

It should look like this when its finished.

Then a fake air scoop for Lunchy #3 which goes in the top of the shell in place of the sun roof

Lets see how it all comes out.
