Cleaned up the chassis, and replaced the broken parts on the MB . Also cleaned the body and original glass piece, so she is now at this stage .
BTW, the all yellow paint job, and matching chassis, wasn't me . The previous owner did that, but I kinda' like the look. Now I'll have to wait until I get a servo and some other bits , and paint up the driver plus attach the light bar . This will be a bit of a non box art job. Now I just have to find the custom stickers I purchased years ago and stored in a safe place (I can't find again..lol) Attachments:

Do those missing stickers say "Tonka" on them?

Currently I'm hovering over pulling the trigger on an Ultrasonic cleaner - Thinking a 6L unit. Please chime in with experiences, as I'm only guessing that it's a decent size for the money (~$120 on Amazon). I'm hoping I can fit the Super Hornet chassis inside (Maybe without the basket? Do you NEED the basket for large parts??). This cleaner will see good use, as I have a used Vintage Grasshopper on the way that struck my fancy, and I've got a line out for a used Falcon that needs some love and a new home. I found myself completely stripping down the newly acquired used Super Hornet last night, and reduced it to this for a thorough cleaning and rebuild:
I suppose I should start my first rebuild thread maybe? IG_tamiyaddiction
