It's a Desert Gator - and a pretty awesome one for that matter.

The on road wheels on the Dune Buggy Street I actually like a lot.

What I don't understand is why Tamiya keeps using the DT-02 so much when they also have the (relatively) new brilliant DN-01 waiting on a breakthrough - and further development.

ja the rims and tires used to be hard to get, that is till now but he thats life luckely i did not buy/pay them as a "collectors Item"
I am curious though if they will have foams in the dt02 rover

btw. they drive like S**t on the dt02 way to wide up front.

but on Wendy they look great, and no problem up front.

You can't just change the rims/tires and callit something else and charge more for it...

Sounds very Tamiya-like to me.

In my opinion, they should have rather found a way to close the silly holes in the nose where the suspension comes through. That would have intrigued me more to buy a kit, not silly wheel upgrades, that's something I would do...
