Waiting for the old lady to get her together so we can go, so I opened up the Scorchers rear window and trimmed up the insert I've been working on to use as a boilerplate. Ran some of the 1.6mm rod around the left window opening and it gives a nice finished look.

Barely made it to the LHS before they closed at 6pm. How they make money being open 6 hours a day is beyond me. Got a panel scriber along with the styrene rod and burned a few bucks at the Asian market down the road.

This is as good as it gets. Gonna install it after I get some sleep, then a coat or two of putty and lots of sanding.

Going to bed didn't work. Got the insert in and some stiffeners behind along the seam. Now I can sleep and let the glue completely cure.

A rather thick coat of putty. Watching it dry is like watching grass grow.

First coat of primer. Lots more sanding and priming to get it smooth. Got the windows a little off center but it'll have to do.
