I've decided that the Split Scorcher needed a Herrod Helper Wing. So I made one from brass sheet. Getting the mount angle was a test of patients.

with the spoiler i would have used a porsche kind of one like:



but the brass one still looks good but needs to be mounted somewhere else like a bit lower but great work :y: :woohoo:

My old lady asked why I wanted to cover up all that hard work too. I think once the wing is painted flat black like the real ones it'll be less intrusive. Goin for an old school Baja 500 look and the Herrod was very popular in the '70's for these guys.

It won't be so nice when I'm done. I'm gonna rust it out. Thinking of doing a full race interior too.

Gotta figure out how to weather the decals. Wet sand with 2000 grit maybe? I'll have to do some testing.
