Thanks Nut. I still have some styrene sheet left and lots of brass from a previous project so I'm gonna ditch the running boards for side rails and make a split window period dash next.

One heater channel done. The other is in progress. Bent up some side rails to mount in the channels.

I don't understand the taillight change Tamiya did with the Scorcher body. They should have kept it 2 pieces or molded the whole thing in clear. I'm glad they kept the lenses on the clear tree so there is an option to fix the mess with a little work.

Thanks again guys. No their just styrene. Didn't have the right size brass.
I aged the decals cause I'm gonna rust out the body. Chassis and wheels are gonna be complete opposite, all alloy and bling.

First coat of stage 1. The pic really doesn't pick up the level of baked in oldness.
