More tasty blooo & black!
Been distracted by poxy Holiday Buggy bits, so a racer project is gonna have to wait yet some more. Just been given a Ranger shell to play with too, & that's far more exciting than fixing the 1/5th etc, so back down the list it goes again!

Racing chassis can be patient. ;)
I'm going from one build to the other... mostly because I'm waiting on parts in the meantime.
Got some nice ones still coming for this one. Gonna be a proper double deck F103. B)

Haha, just got an email from paypal saying I'm only 300 quid off my 1900 quid limit! What?! How did that happen?....

Oh well, 300 quid is more than enough to build the most awesome Group C or F103 you could think of. :silly:
Didn't know they had a limit like that btw...

Yeah there's a limit if your paypal account isn't linked to your bank account (Think they call it getting verified). I don't much like the idea of internet money transactions & certainly wouldn't give anyone my bank details & let them have access to my account.
Bottom line is, no matter how good anyone's online security is, there's always someone out there cleverer than them, who's sole purpose in life is to break that security, usually for the purpose of getting access to money or information, but sometimes just because they get a kick out of screwing stuff up.
The whole idea of bank numpties with keyboards being in control of my hard earned cash, thinking it's all safe & secure, makes me cringe

I know what you mean. I wish PayPal started using text messages for control...
As a fanatic RC parts buyer, I feel I don't really have a choice but to have an account there.

Yes, it certainly opens doors to how you can pay & where in the world you can source bits. I look at the limit as being a friendly reminder that I really should stop spending so much!

Like at the origin - Japan. I didn't think it would be so hard to find good 3x35mm countersunk screws.
I need them because I will be using the long upperdeck with the special servo stay from the F103GT :

I found a cool Japanese aftermarket brand - Square RC - that makes an awesome hex head titanium version.
Then I decided to send Banzai Hobby an e-mail if it would be possible to get this item in stock.
And within a week they were available! They can be found here. :cheer:
So now I hope I will be able to assemble this car soon... after some FRP restoring naturally.
