I believe they are made by Parma (that's what the ebay listing said). They are marked TR8412 on the sidewalls. They are also very similar to Troll tyres (I suspect these may be a copy, hence the "TR" part number). I also have some very similar ones on my RC-10 which are "You-G". |

@Stingray - I think your tyres are probably Troll tyres. They are available in sensible colours!
Still deliberating about which body to put on this. I decided that the Rough Rider body I originally intended to use is too good to chop up to fit around the front suspension, so I will use that on my "proper" SRB chassis. I thought about a Kamtec Baja body, but the miser in me wants to use the original, rather beaten up SS body: I think the only option with this is "rat look", which will suit the badass chassis quite well I think. Anyone got a Beetle (SS, Blitzer, Monster Beetle) nose cone going spare? |

First, attack with the graffiti remover then I had a go at the cracks with some of this stuff:
The previous owner had attempted to repair the cracks by welding with a soldering iron. This just caused the cracks to be wider than they should have been. The adhesive above has the consistency of epoxy so is useful for filling cracks and building up a reinforcing layer. It dries to a flexible plastic finish so I'm hoping it will not crack again. |
