TOPIC:

ADD strikes again. I'm never happy unless I have 3 or more builds/restos going at the same time. And since I am down to 2 in their final stages it's time to start another.
Enter the Desert Storm chassis. All parts have been ordered or scavenged. Integy gearbox, Twister alloy bead locks and various sundry bits showed up today.
First order wad to turn this bulkhead...

Into this bit to hold the steering assembly
I'll be switching the steering arms for alloy when the huge order I made from Asiatees shows. I also went ahead and mounted the street and mud tyres on the rims. I got a set of sand tyres too for next years holiday at the beach. .
Next up is mounting the tranny and the holes are slightly off so I'll have to break out the dermal. .

That is a seriously tasty looking tranny! I take it it's alloy? Spur/slipper's proper OTT as a functional item too! V posh!

i taped an iPad to the back of my old ladies head so I can look at eBay.

Painted body panels today. Threw some leftover Sand Scorcher stickers on them. Also mounted the steering servo and tranny. The rest of the parts I ordered are in NY so maybe Tuesday or Wednesday they'll be here.
