As I'm waiting on the body for the Big Bear I decided to strip the Cen completely and do the rebuild as all mock up is completed. I polished the alloy chassis & battery plate, then cleaned a reassembled the deck with electrics I rebuilt the shocks with some black parts so they don't look so purple, fitted the new motor and was able to give it a test run Now it also requires the body to be finished

So tonight I visited my neighbour who media blast the big bear shell Turns out the paint had etched itself in very well and was exceptionally nasty to get off Still its come out nice and after a wash it will be ready to prime

Picked up some paint supplies today ($180 worth oh and not just for this ) Started by etch priming the BB shell then it received white undercoat , I'll leave it to harden then a light scuff before top coating

Media blasted on Friday then finished prepping the Ford f150 SVT body today and got it in etch primer




Also here's a tease of the Big Bear shell in top coat

That's very shiny ... but I'm not sold on the colour

Ok here she is Still plenty of detail painting to do but I happy with the colour, It's as close to the box art as I could have hoped for

Yes the Owner had cut the decals and I think tried applying the bonnet stripes and failed then decided not to put anymore on, So we have all the others ready to go
